# SourceCred

## About

SourceCred is a tool used to measure and reward value creation based on the interactions communities have with certain platforms. In the TEC we decided to use only two of our main ones, Github and Discourse, considering the most relevant contributions happen there and anything outside of this scope can be captured by Praise. One of the most exciting features of SourceCred is the ability to gather reliable and objective contributions data that can offer great insights about our culture.
